Chapter 51
I had never been to another werewolf community and I was awed by Greyvine. It was just as they said. It was beautiful and calm.
My mother lived here as a girl, she used to tell us stories of her stay here.
As soon as I stepped into the community,my senses were instantly overwhelmed
by the sight. I inhaled the delicate fragrance of blooming flowers.
The sight that nearly took my breath away was the bougainvillaea as it sat proudly, commanding attention.
The water cascading down the waterfall looked as pure as they claimed.
“Do you still remember where to find the seer?,” I asked Eve as it had been a long time since she was here.
“Why wouldn’t I?,” she replied stiffly,pursing her l*ps in a thin line.
I followed her quietly, fighting the urge to say a word as I realized that my many questions clearly irritated her.
We stopped in front of a wooden house and Eve called out a name I can’t remember,a little girl of about Rick’s age came out and hugged Eve.
“Fay,this is my sister I told you about, Amara,” she said and the girl grinned and came to embrace me.
I couldn’t help but think about my boys. Rick with Rielle and even though I know he’d be safe,I felt sad leaving him there, but I promised him that I’d be back to take him. I was going to uphold that promise.
She had seemed Shocked when I dropped Rick with her and pleaded with her to take care of him as I was leaving the mansion. I believed she’d have us followed,so to avoid suspicions,I told her that I needed to see my out in Greyvine to inform her of our Grandmother’s death and the other happenings.
Lucien would not allow any harm to come to his son,I really wanted to believe
that.
I don’t even know how Kai would be faring, I know he’d be dejected and blame himself for not protecting his brother. He’d think they had done something to

Rick,Perhaps,kill him.
“Why are you crying,” the girl said and I sniffed, I hadn’t even realized that I’d been crying.
“I’m..I’m not,” I said as I wiped the tears. That I had cried a lot without even knowing meant that I was really sad about everything. Especially about not being able to do anything. I smiled at the girl
“I’m Amara,” I said and she handed me her hand.
“I’m Fay,” she smiled, revealing her incomplete tooth.
Eve whispered something to her and her face lit up as she immediately ran inside. and returned with a big brown envelope.
She gave fay something that looked like money as she collected the envelope.
She waved goodbye to us and Eve waved back, instinctively, I waved too. We walked a bit then I turned back and was surprised when I saw a middle aged woman with a smile on her face.It seemed as though Fay had transformed into a woman. It seemed impossible, but I remember they used to say that Greyvine was a hub for witchcraft.
I wanted to say something, asked about what I had just seen or the contents of the brown envelope but thought against it as we walked down a narrow road.
We came across a small house and without knocking or arriving her presence, Eve entered.
I held her back.
“Shouldn’t we knock or something?,” I questioned and she sighed.
“She’s a seer,She knows we’re coming,” she said quietly.
Wow!,she must be good then, for we to not have to announce our presence.
When we entered,I surveyed the room. It was dimly lit with the only source of light being from a small candle in the middle of the room.
I glanced around,my eyes lingering on some of the ancient artifacts I had only heard about in stories. I wanted to touch one of the paintings.

“Don’t touch anything!,” Eve hissed and I sighed as I held back my hands.

“Sit,” a voice said and we spun around quickly to see who it belonged to. It was a wrinkled woman who looked to be in her late seventies. I gulped, hoping that this wasn’t a mistake.
I turned to Eve who nodded and beckoned me to sit. She sat in a yoga style and I followed.
I inches closer to Eve, “I hope this isn’t a mistake,” I said and she glared murderously at me and closed her eyes as if she was meditating.
I might as well just go with it. It’s not like I had any other choice or someone who’d give me answers to what I seek.
“State your business,” she said as she Began to sit, facing us.
I thought Eve said she was a seer and knows what we were be here for.
“Ma’am, I was here a few years ago. You really helped me then. I was hoping you could help my sister now with the answers she seek,” Eve announced and I sighed.
“Your thoughts are jumbled up,too scattered. You don’t really know what you want and you’re scared, you don’t want to believe what you’d hear. And you’ve been rethinking your decision to come here since you entered.” She said and I opened
mouth agape.

She couldn’t have made all that up. She must truly be a seer. I had to trust her,it’s not like I had another option.
“You’re right,” I said,still in shock.
“But I still need your help, please,” I said again.
Before we start, I’d like you to know that I will not mention names. I’m performing some rites this year which forbids me from doing so,” she revealed and Eve nodded.
I believe we could manage without names.
“Your strength. You seek to find out about it. That’s what you really want to know more than anything,” she stated and I nodded.

Chapter 51
If Eve had met her somewhere before now, I’d have said Eve fed her all that information.
“It’s not a curse. It’s very much yours. It was inherited from your family,” she said and I turned to face Eve. We were right. It was a gift, not a curse.
“And the other things we want to know?,” I asked and she turned to Eve.
“You want to know if there’s a way to break the oath your mate is under,” she said. and Eve nodded.
“It’s not totally impossible,but it’s difficult….”
“How can he do that?,” I asked and she seemed to glare at me before she spoke.
“She hates being interrupted,” Eve whispered to me and I nodded. No wonder she seems posed.
Since she’s a seer and could see everything, including our questions and thoughts.
“He would find out about that on his own. It would be a difficult journey, but your love will triumph over everything,” she finally finished.
I wanted to yell out another question I had,but she spoke first.
“You’re right not to trust that woman. The child is someone’s, not the Alpha’s .But. don’t give up on your man. You should know him better,” she said and drank something from a cup.
“Your other Son. You..you shouldn’t worry about him,he’d do just fine on his own..,” she finished.
I couldn’t help it,so I blurted out.
“When will I see him?,”?I asked, suddenly standing up. I didn’t care about what she’d do.
“I hate being interrupted. Weren’t you told!,” she suddenly screamed, lunging forward that I was startled.
“It distorts my sights!,” she said
“I’m sorry ma. I’m so sorry,I’ll make sure she doesn’t interrupt you again,” Eve said as he dragged me down to sit.

“I just want to get back my boy,” I muttered and I felt Eve’s habd in my back patting me.
“You have to keep quiet and listen to her so we can get all the answers we seek,” She said quietly.
“You’d get your husband back,” she said as she sat back, upright.
“You both will go through a tough phase for a while. But your son in the mansion will be well taken care of by the Alpha,”
“The leader of this…Rogue sect. It’s someone you both know. You’ve met him,but you’d never suspect him, never,” as she said it, I turned to Eve and our gazes locked. We were thinking of the same thing. If it’s someone we’d never suspect, then it’s not Greyson!.
I really wanted to tell her to give us a name, but she had warned earlier that she couldn’t give us a name.
“Your father!. As I said,I cannot mention names but your strength was gotten from your father and even if I can’t mention his name, I’ll tell you what he is…or was,” she announced and I paled at the ‘was. This does mean that he’s dead.

“He was a Lycan king. The Lycan king of Silverpine,” she revealed and I and Eve exchanged looks, realizing what that meant.
