Goddess’s Design: His Fated Mate Chapter 89

Chapter 89

Kneeling and wailing, Alpha Adam abruptly rose from the ground and rushed to Bix. “Stop her! She’ll listen to you! Stop her!” he yelled.

Bix’s eyes remained emotionless. “She won’t listen to me now, not after being betrayed by her own father,” Bix replied. “If you don’t want to lose her completely, then stop your games here, Alpha Adam,” his words angered Adam to no end.

“You worthless son of a bitch!” Adam slapped Bix, his growl echoing in the surroundings. “I know what you’re trying to do! You had your eyes on the Opal Moon Pack Alpha position from the beginning, that’s why you didn’t protect my Ella! You traitor! Instead of casting you aside, I raised you, fed you, but you…”

Before Adam could continue, a

rong punch landed on his jaw with such force that his body was sent flying, crashing into a nearby tree. The attacker was none other than Oran. “What the fuck did you just say, you motherfucker!!” Oran roared.

“Ohh my…” Willow nearly screamed in terror at the sight of Oran’s violent outburst, one that unleashed the animalistic fury he had been holding back in silence all this time.

“How dare you slap him!” Oran grabbed Adam by his hair, dragging him mercilessly before slamming his head against the tree.

Willow covered her mouth in horror as she watched Oran continue to hit Adam’s head against the tree. After the third blow, Adam’s face was covered in blood, his eyes closed as if he were already dead, and his struggles had long ceased.

“Reuben, stop him!” Willow grabbed Reuben’s hand in panic. “Reuben!” Seeing Reuben merely watching without taking any action, she decided to intervene before it was too late. However, Reuben grabbed her hand and shook his head.

Panicked and confused, she followed his gaze, only to find that Bix had already intervened.

“Oran, let him go,” Bix attempted to pull Oran away from Adam, but his efforts were in vain. “Oran!” he raised his voice, but Oran’s rage clouded his judgment as he pushed Bix aside and continued his assault on Adam. “Let him go, or he will die!” Bix shouted, seizing Oran’s pummeling fists in midair using all his

strength.

Breathing heavily like an enraged bull, Oran glared at Bix and pulled his hand back from Bix’s grasp.

Without warning, he seized Bix’s hand and forcefully dragged him away, his large steps filled with

impatient fury.

“What are you doing?” Bix resisted at first, but he fell silent when Oran cast him a meaningful glance.

Willow watched Oran and Bix leave the yard with worry. “Reuben… Oran is very angry. Will he hurt Bix?”

“Not a chance,” Reuben murmured.

“How can you be so confident?” she blinked in worry and confusion only to get the full meaning of the

answer from Reuben’s silence. Suddenly Willow got a very strange feeling in my heart as she suddenly

realized, “Are they….” she gasped.

“Oran, let me go! People are watching,” Bix spoke in a hushed tone, his skin crawling under the gazes of the passing pack members as Oran dragged him all the way to his house.

“Let them gawk! I don’t give a damn if anyone is watching us,” Oran replied, kicking the door of his

-house.

“What did you just say?” Bix frowned bitterly. “Have you lost your mind…” Before he could say another word, Oran slammed the door shut behind them and pinned Bix against the nearby wall.

Bix gasped when Oran pinned his hands above his head and pressed his body against Bix. “What… What are you doing?” Bix panicked.

  • “Tell me how long have you known you were an Alpha blood and Ella’s cousin!” Oran demanded.

Bix’s heart raced due to their close proximity, his limbs shook slightly with the forbidden feelings that only Oran could evoke within him. He averted his gaze and replied, “Since I turned twelve. I never felt any sort of parental bond with my father to begin with, I had doubts that I was even his son. However, my parents were very good to me. During a celebration, I met Alpha Adam and his elder brother. I felt a parental bond with his elder brother and his wife. She had witch blood, and I already suspected that I

was their son. I was too shocked to digest the truth at that moment, then Alpha Adam revealed that my

real parents did not want me, so he had swapped me with his own daughter for my own good. He also

gave me a choice to return to my biological parents if I wanted. I obviously refused, but in exchange for

letting me stay with my adoptive parents and the kindness Adam had shown me by swapping the child

to save me, he only asked that I protect Ella for the rest of my life.

“In the depths of my heart, I was aware of all the wickedness and greed of Adam, but Ella was my cousin

and innocent of all those ugly truths. Honestly, there was no benefit in exposing either of them when I

had no intention of returning to my biological parents or the Opal Moon Pack, Ella was the best leader for Opal Moon. I had no place there,” Bix revealed everything in a subdued tone, avoiding Oran’s gaze.

Oran placed a finger under Bix’s chin, forcing him to meet his gaze. “Then why did you hide it from me?”

he inquired, leaning closer to Bix’s face, causing him to panic even more.

“I… I didn’t want you to see me differently if my identity as an Alpha was exposed. That’s why…” Bix

stuttered out his explanation.

Before Bix could finish his sentence, Oran crushed his lips against his. Bix was stunned, his eyes

widening in surprise. After a few seconds he snapped out of his shock, his gaze locked onto Oran’s

intense one as he struggled in his hold, attempting to break free from the kiss. “What the hell are you

doing, Oran!” he yelled, his face flushing red in embarrassment, though his intense heartbeat and his

body’s response to the kiss betrayed him.

“Kissing,” Oran licked his lower lip, eyeing Bix. “Should I kiss you again to make you understand?”

“No! Have you lost your mind! You can’t just…” Bix gritted his teeth, unable to speak the word ‘kiss‘ in

his embarrassment

“You mean kiss?” Oran raised his eyebrows.

*“Yes! You can’t just do that!” Bix protested.

“Why?”

“Because…” Bix choked on his words before finally stating, “Because I am a man!” he declared.

“Wow, what a coincidence. I am a man too,” Oran stated with amusement and crushed his lips against

Bix’s again, “And your soulmate.”

“Soulmates?” Willow exclaimed, utterly astonished upon grasping the underlying cause of tension

between Oran and Bix all this while.

“Yes,” Reuben chuckled, affectionately pinching her cheek and reveling in her endearing surprise.

“Since when?” she blinked inquisitively, completely oblivious to the fact that Alpha Adam was being

escorted away by warriors to the prison. At this juncture, Adam was no longer permitted to depart from Emerald pack lands.

“Since they came of age,” Reuben replied, gently clasping her hand as they began to stroll together in the front yard.

“Goddess! They are soulmates but neither of them…”

“In fact, it’s all due to Bix,” Reuben interjected. “Bix is too reticent to acknowledge that he’s bonded

with a man who happens to also be his close friend. As for Oran, he has harbored feelings for Bix from the start, which Bix pretended not to notice. By the time they recognized each other as their soulmates, Bix was too stunned to accept it. He kept maintaining that friendly relationship with Oran all these years but it is not easy to ignore your mate or mate bond. Of course, Oran is not one to give up easily,” Reuben

elucidated.

Willow’s eyes gleamed with admiration, but their attention was diverted as they both noticed Walter emerging from his car with Ella on his shoulder. She was shouting and hitting his back, but he paid no heed. “Try scratching me again and see what happens,” he chided, slapping Ella’s buttocks, which startled and embarrassed her before he simply ushered her inside the packhouse.

“Now, what in the world is happening with those two?” Willow gaped at them, her eyes widening in

‘disbelief.

“It appears that adversaries are transforming into something more,” Reuben commented.

“You mean…” Willow bit her lip, her mind racing with possibilities.

Reuben narrowed his eyes at his beloved mate and drew her closer to him. “You concern yourself with everyone and attend to everyone except me,” he lamented.

Willow blinked in surprise at his abrupt shift in demeanor, finding it hard to contain her smile at his

pouting. She gasped dramatically, “The mighty Alpha Reuben needs me to take care of him?”

ד

“Yes, I do!” he declared, enveloping her in his regal and dominating aura.

“It appears I have truly offended His Highness, Alpha Prince Reuben,” she timidly blinked.

Reuben’s heart raced at her timid demeanor. Both he and his wolf were seduced and aroused when she addressed him by his title. A title that he never wanted to be addressed by yet it sounded incredibly lude to his ears when she called him that. So lude that his cock twitched in his pants. He struggled to control his hand, resisting the urge to grab her and fuck her behind the nearby tree where they stood.

Lost in his lustful thoughts, he lifted his chin and leaned in close, his voice a whispered caress against her lips, which were mere inches apart. “If you acknowledge your mistake, then how about accepting the consequences?” he murmured.

Willow met his gaze, her entire body tingling with heat as she whispered back, “Please, punish me… Alpha.”

As soon as she said that, Reuben could no longer control himself and pulled her into a passionate kiss, “You are such a cock tease, Willow,” he grumbled and nipped her softly between kisses. Willow giggled softly, kissing him back. She knew exactly which buttons of his she had just pushed.

Reuben could no longer perform the act of pouting. “Let’s go,” he held her hand and made her run towards the woods:

“Where?” Willow giggled, matching his speed.

“This Alpha Prince is kidnapping his princess.”

Willow “It can’t be my baby!” Reuben tossed the pregnancy report onto the bed where I sat, my eyes wide with shock. “What do you mean?” I stammered, my voice hardly escaping my throat. My heart sank as I watched him deny his own flesh and blood. “I returned from the pack after two months, and now you’re telling me you’re pregnant? Does that even make sense?” Reuben’s growl was filled with frustration. My mind went blank as I stared at my soulmate. I had anticipated his return with excitement, expecting him to embrace me and share in the joy of our first child. I had imagined he would be overjoyed to know that he was going to be a father. However, I never expected Reuben to react with such rage to the news of my pregnancy, indirectly accusing me of infidelity and rejecting his own child. “It’s our baby, Reuben,” my voice shook, “Have you forgotten that you showed up in my room two months ago when you were in a rut? We made love the whole night without protection.” I tried my best to remind him of that night, desperately seeking Reuben’s soft, love-filled eyes, but all I got in return was sternness and growing bitterness. “So you’re using my rut as an excuse?” he growled. “I was in rut, but you were in your senses, right? If I hadn’t used a condom, you could have used the morning-after pill or birth control to prevent this from happening. Or at the very least, you could have told me about our mistake that night.”
