When Marc hurriedly arrived at the apartment, Clarissa was kneeling on the ground, sobbing with her face covered.
“Clarissa.”

Marc noticed that Clarissa had a bright red left cheek. His expression immediately

asked, “Mother, why didn’t you inform me before you came?”
The eldest daughter of the Males family, Phoenix Males, even sitting in a wheelchair, exuded an imposing presence and maintained the posture of an upper–class. Her narrow and sharp eyes resembled Marc’s, and her tone was extremely cold.
“Have you informed me before you divorced and hid your mistress here?”
She was wearing a traditional dress and draped a thin blanket over her legs, which was intricately embroidered by Pearl. The shawl she was wearing was also a gift

Phoenix raised her hand, and the maid Harper Slater, who was standing behind her, immediately understood and lit a cigarette for her.

When it came to his father, Marc tightly pressed his thin lips and revealed a somewhat colder expression.
“If we can’t talk about Pearl, let’s talk about this woman.”
Phoenix took a puff of her cigarette and looked at the woman hiding in the arms of Marc and crying pitifully. She looked at Clarissa disdainfully. “Enough! What are you pretending for in front of me? This was the largest luxury club in Nanston. It offered VIP membership and allowed
entry through facial recognition technology. The security guards at the entrance had scanning eyes and refused entry to unfamiliar faces without further ado.
A man wearing sunglasses stood at the door with an indifferent expression. Event
when he saw acquaintances, he would often ignore them until he caught sight of a
red Porsche driving into view, at which point a hint of delight appeared on his face.
He took small steps forward and opened the car door. “I thought you weren’t
coming. I’ve been waiting for you for half an hour.”
“You should have just waited inside. Why are you waiting outside?” asked Pearl.
She took off her shoes and put on a pair of golden high heels. She stepped out of the car, wearing a red suspender dress, looking both cool and wild. The guards at the
door were stunned.
“Hubert has a new lover? This lady is quite stunning,” they thought to themselves.
Hubert looked at Pearl’s outfit and nodded in satisfaction. “It looks so much better
than the way you dress like an old nun all day long.”
“If you can’t speak, then keep quiet.”
Pearl gave a disgruntled glance at the young man and followed him into the room smoothly. Hubert wanted to take her to a private room, but she shook her head and sat at the bar instead, saying, “The private room is so boring. I can still check out hot guys here.”

A disturbance was caused by some customers in the private room, and the manager
came over to invite Hubert to handle the situation.
“I will take a look. Wait for me here, and do not wander around.”
Pearl waved her hand, gesturing him to hurry.
It had been a long time since she last stepped foot in such a bustling nightlife scene and even longer since she last had a drink. silently, seething with anger inside.
The tall and handsome man looked at Pearl, his dignified face showing a slight smile. His charming eyes raised slightly. “Miss, what’s the point in just drinking? Would you mind honoring me with a dance?”
Pearl lifted her watery eyes and glanced at the good–looking man. With a naive grin,
