When She Stops Playing Nice Chapter 43

Chapter 43
Olivia wanted to leave.
Before Olivia could finish speaking, James interrupted her, sneering, “Gina, if you think you can come back to the Miller family in this way, I advise you to give up. The contract to sever ties was initiated by you. Once signed, there’s no turning back.”
Gina coldly eyed him and said, “You’re mistaken. I don’t care about going back.”
“Then how do you propose to resolve this?” Noah gritted his teeth, knowing that since Gina came prepared, she wouldn’t back down easily.
“An eye for an eye, of course, Gina smirked.
Noah immediately guarded Olivia behind him and said vigilantly. “What are you planning? If you dare lay a finger on Olivia, don’t blame me for being rude to you.”
Gina ignored Noah’s sudden act of chivalry and said to Olivia, “You owe me the 600cc of blood that was taken from me. You have to repay me.”
Olivia was stunned and thought, ‘How was I supposed to repay that?’
Their blood types were different. She couldn’t just give Gina back the blood.
“Stop being ridiculous, just pay you back with money. How much do you want?” James intervened.
“I don’t want money, I want her blood,” Gina stated firmly.
Olivia suddenly had an idea to gain sympathy. She nodded vigorously and said, “Okay, I’ll give you back the blood.”
The people of the Miller family thought Olivia was going to call the doctor or nurse to draw blood, but instead, they saw Olivia suddenly pick up the fruit knife from the bedside table and swiftly cut her wrist, blood oozing out. The Miller family was shocked.
“Olivia!” Ella exclaimed.
Even though Olivia was unscathed during the car accident and pretended to get into shock, Ella still felt distressed when. Olivia was injured.
Noah hurriedly covered Olivia’s wound with tissue.
Olivia dodged and said, “Mom, brother, I’m fine. I did something wrong and should accept punishment. I should return the blood to Gina, as long as she can forgive me.”
C i n a saw Olivia’s wound and wanted to laugh. Olivia was treasuring her life so much that she didn’t dare to go too far. “Are you planning to return the blood in installments? With such a wound, I bet it’ll heal in less than two minutes, right?”
“Gina, be merciful! Are you trying to kill Olivia? Losing 600cc of blood will cause shock, James roared.
Gina laughed,” So you know that losing 600cc will cause shock. If I hadn’t acted in time that day, wouldn’t you have taken 1000cc of my blood already? Olivia’s life is important, but mine isn’t?”
The Miller family were speechless.

Olivia continued to act pitifully and said, “Don’t argue because of me. It’s all my fault. I’m sorry, Gina, I’ll definitely return the blood to you.”
After saying that, she gritted her teeth and cut her wrist again. This time she was more ruthless, cutting into the artery, and blood gushed out.
Ella’s face turned pale as she said, “Doctor, go call the doctor right away.”
“If she doesn’t return the 600cc of blood today, next time I’ll take double. My time is precious, and I don’t want to waste it with you. Consider the extra 600cc as interest,” Gina said coldly.
The Miller family were stunned.
Noah looked at Gina in disbelief and said. “Are you insane? If anything happens to Olivia, I’ll fight you to the end.”
Gina, unwilling to show weakness, countered, “If she doesn’t return 600cc of blood to me, I’ll make public all the things she’s done. Let everyone see her true colors.”
Gina knew they cared most about the Miller family’s reputation, and sure enough, after she said this, they didn’t rush to call. for a doctor, especially Ella.
Ella was worried that Ethan’s parents would know the family secrets and think Olivia was a bad woman, which would affect the marriage between the two families.
She could only dig her nails into her palm and glare fiercely at Gina
Noah also dared not act rashly.
Gina took the cup James used for drinking water from the bedside table, estimated its capacity, and instructed Olivia, “Fill this cup up. It’s about 600cc.”
“Okay.” Olivia, feeling ashamed, took the cup and placed it under her wrist, letting the blood drip into the cup.
But she was still unwilling to “repay” Gina with 600cc of blood.
Just as the bottom of the cup was about to be covered by the blood, Olivia began to pretend to feel weak and rubbed her forehead.
Noah felt heartbroken and said to Gina angrily, “Olivia was already fragile, and because of your false accusations, she got her right hand broken by Miss Bush. If she still needs to repay the blood, you might really take Olivia’s life!”
“It was Jasmine’s business that she recognized the wrong person. If you have the guts, go find Jasmine to settle the score. Don’t rant in front of me. As for the broken bone, how did you know it’s not a pretense?” Gina sneered.
C n a had long seen through Olivia’s nature, and as she asked this, she observed Olivia’s momentary panic in her eyes and knew she had hit the mark.
Gina had always felt that Olivia’s lies were very clumsy, and her attempts to frame her were very crude, but the Miller family
seemed blind to it.
Perhaps they weren’t blind, they were just pretending to be ignorant.
“Gina, many classmates saw Miss Bush drag me into the ladies’ room and beat me up that day,” Olivia said in a small voice.
It meant she had witnesses too.

Chapter 43
“Did I say she didn’t beat you?” Gina asked calmly.
“I’m just curious about why she happened to break your right hand when you were supposed to be designing new jewelry for the Miller family. Is it because Jasmine really broke your right hand, or is it an excuse to avoid designing drafts?”
Gina’s words hit the nail on the head.
Olivia’s heart was pounding. All her thoughts had been seen through by Gina.
She thought, ‘Could it be that she could read minds?”
“I didn’t. Don’t misunderstand me. Miss Bush recognized the wrong person. I didn’t blame you, and I didn’t want to see my right hand injured.”
