I shook my head. “She does things her own way and it’s safe to say, we don’t need her anymore. There are other ways to get Elder Nathaniel’s support.”

I smiled as I remembered how we had done it. The Blood Creek used ancient werewolf magic and we had used it to turn Rielle’s mind into believing that she was my fated mate.
I knew she wanted nothing more than to become a Luna and when I had shown her the faked prophecy, she had decided to support us.

“He must be furious this time. Amara who was by his side has left. His sister’s gone too.”
I nodded. “Anyway, Rielle’s punishment is none of our concern. I believe she was going to abandon us.”

“Anyway, let’s forget about Rielle. At least she’s out of our lives for good. There’s no reason for us to hide our relationship anymore,” she began and I smiled.

“Anyways, I think now’s the perfect time to announce this,” she began, her voice laced with excitement.
Sherry’s Grandfather was an elder of Silverpine, it was her mother who was from the old pack. He was one of the founding fathers of Blood Creek and was the one who mentored me.
“Go on, I’m suddenly eager to hear this news,” I smiled.

My eyes widened and I opened my mouth and then clamped them shut again, trying to take in what I had just heard.

I didn’t want to know what she meant by taking care of, all I knew was that it wouldn’t be good.
“Rielle’s about to be thrown in the cell,” I pointed out and she shrugged.

I nodded slowly as realization dawned on me. She wasn’t planning on meeting Rielle to harm the Baby. All she needed was something connected to the baby, in this case, me or her, since she was connected to me. That was how powerful the mate bond was.

“So you’ll hurt a child,” I started, remembering how Rielle felt about children-until something changed in her.
I shook her head. I’m only just finding out about the woman I fell in love with. She said she was going to hurt a child and I believed she meant it. She would hurt the baby and I knew I had to do something quickly.
Rielle might’ve been a tad bit evil, but the baby was innocent. I couldn’t let anything happen to it.
