“It’s a shame I didn’t see the performance myself!” Celeste complained, “How could you perform without telling me?”
Celeste was two years older than Mikayla.
They attended different colleges.
She had once sneaked into Mikayla’s college years ago.
She wanted to peek at some handsome guys, but instead, she was captivated by Mikayla
and asked for her contact information.
They had been friends since then.
However, Mikayla hadn’t played the drums since then, so Celeste hadn’t had the chance to
enjoy it again.

“After all these years, you’re still as amazing as ever,” Celeste said. “Why don’t you consider performing regularly at the bar? I promise to come and support you!”

stage, I’ll make time!”
Mikayla knew that Celeste genuinely liked her drumming.
She smiled and comforted Celeste, “I was just in the mood last night. I played drums with Michael and the others. Next time you’re free, we’ll go together. I’ll play a piece specially
for you.”
“That’s about right!” Celeste snorted. “You’ve been getting close to Michael lately. Is he the
one who filmed the video?”
“What are you trying to say?”
*As a lead singer, he stopped singing and filmed a video for you. Don’t you think there’s
something wrong with that?” Celeste questioned,
Mikayla felt speechless again.
“Celeste, who said a lead singer has to sing all the time? It’s not a competition. Can’t he let his bandmates sing? Besides, although I’m somewhat good–looking, he’s a clear–headed person. Would you like a married person?”
