Mikayla didn’t want to deal with Jerome. She turned and asked Michael gently, “Are you Injured? Do you need to go to the hospital for a check–up?”

“We can talk here. I can’t be distracted while driving,” Mikayla said.

Jerome sat in the front passenger seat as Mikayla started the car.

situation?”
“Did you hire someone to tail me?”

Mikayla did not answer and stepped on the accelerator again.
