Pursuing My Ex Wife in a Blooming Spring Chapter 114

Chapter 114

The woman had long curly hair, pretty facial features, and an intricately made-up face. Her red lips made her look powerful.

She was in a business suit, an expensive bag on her arm, and killer stilettos. She strutted as she walked.

She clearly came from a wealthy family. Every step she took oozed confidence and pride. She looked unattainable.

It was Olivia Carver.

Naomi did not expect to see her here. When she recalled that Scott would be at the airport too, however, it was not that surprising that Olivia would be here.

Naomi turned her attention to her phone instead.

The chat group that consisted of her former classmates exploded with messages the moment she made her first text. Fortunately, Caleb mentioned that she was busy and did not have as much time as the rest of them did, so no one came to pester her.

Naomi had indeed been busy and did not have the time to look at the messages in the group.

What started as questions about Naomi then evolved into reminiscing about their high school days. Everyone was happy.

Amelia was the only inactive individual in the chat.

Naomi was not at all surprised. Amelia had been extremely busy taking on cases, investigating, questioning, and being in court. They had been interacting less recently, too. Their calls were often rushed and cut short.

Naomi felt sorry for Amelia yet relieved at the same time. That night, after saying those things to Sean at Fansville, she wondered if Sean ever went to look for Amelia, but she told Amelia through the phone as well.

Amelia told her not to worry. Nothing brought her more joy than earning money.

Naomi smiled at this. She would rather Amelia move forward in life rather than wallow in misery due to love.

Feelings and relationships were needed in life, but not all of it. One had to remain logical too.

Amelia was doing great.

Naomi read the texts in the chat group that then focused on one particular topic: the reunion.

Naomi thought about how Caleb said he wanted to hold a class reunion. It seemed that they had not had a reunion ever since high school.

If they ever had a reunion before, Amelia would have told her.

Naomi continued reading the chats.

At this moment, Olivia came out from the VIP section and headed straight for the entrance of

the airport. She did not spot Naomi as many people were in the airport, and Noami was sitting quite far away from her facing a different angle.

Also, all Naomi could think of was to meet Scott. That was why her gaze remained straight ahead at the entrance of the airport.

The moment she got to the entrance, she stopped in her tracks.

A black Mercedes-Benz stopped right in front of the huge entrance.

The chauffeur got out of the car and opened the door, revealing the reserved Scott. In typical fashion, he wore a suit suavely, and his jacket hung on his arm.

Ever so aloof and distant.

He stopped and looked ahead, meeting Olivia’s gaze instantly.

Olivia’s heart skipped a beat. She instantly smiled.

He was extremely busy and hard to track. Even if she sent him a message asking him where he was, he would not tell her. She had to ask around to find out that he was abroad.

She knew that he was focusing his career on the country. He had been really busy the past two months. She could understand.

That was why she did not look for him. She joined Carver Corporation and quickly took over her family’s business. She quickly got into work mode.

Of course, she never forgot about him. She had gotten news of him from time to time and found out that he was at Horizon City that day.

She delegated her work at hand and immediately went over.

Ever since leaving Horizon City up until that moment, she has not seen him for almost half a month. She missed him terribly.
